Statement of the Press Office of the CC of the KKE on the developments in the Ukraine
The KKE condemns the new unacceptable military assault in the cities Donetsk, Mariupol and Slavyansk which was launched by the government of the nationalist-fascist forces of Ukraine, with the provocative support of the EU and the USA, leading to a new massacre with fatalities in Ukraine.
Τhe people of Ukraine are being slaughtered on the altar of the interests of the EU and the USA which are competing fiercely with Russia over which monopolies will exploit the energy resources and their transport routes.
These developments prove once again that the only choice that the people of Ukraine as well have is to organize their struggle, to disentangle themselves from the claws of the imperialist alliances and the capitalist path of development.
